The History
Hello! My name is Michelle and I am the founder and creator of Hydr-8 Water Bottles.
We’ve all heard it. Drink 8 glasses of water per day. So, what’s holding you back?
I’m not sure why, but I simply couldn’t remember to drink my water every day. I’m a pharmacist. I knew the health benefits of water. I knew it helps with weight loss, is necessary for healthy kidneys, healthy heart, and to allow our bodies to detoxify. It helps to prevent constipation, strengthen breathing, treat heartburn, prevent migraines, control rheumatoid arthritis, minimize backaches, and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Pretty much it’s one of the most essential and important factors in determining the health of our bodies. Despite all of this, sometimes I would get through an entire day with my water bottle still full. I didn’t drink anything.
During a routine eye exam, my ophthalmologist told me my eyes were so dry that the cells were dying. Despite my efforts at using artificial tears, prescription eye drops, and moisturizing gels and ointments, my eyes continued to be dry. I knew my general level of dehydration could not be helping the situation. This was my vision we were talking about. What could be more important? I needed help remembering my water.
I developed the Hydr-8 water bottle – our 32 ounce measured water bottle – to serve as my friendly reminder. With the day broken down into two hour increments, my 8 glass per day goal was no longer so overwhelming. If I got behind on drinking my water, it was easy to tell, and easy to catch up. I remember to drink my water now. I have seen benefits in my health that have improved virtually every area of my life. In the past year, I have lost 20 pounds. I have energy to exercise daily. My blood pressure is down, and my cholesterol at healthy levels.

The Why
Hydr-8 Water Bottles was started with one thing in mind: my family. Running a business AND my family had to work in harmony with one another. So, a family business was born!
From bottle design to boxing thousands of bottles and shipping them off to our customers, my husband, 4 boys, and myself have worked side by side.
Every Hydr-8 sale goes to support the college education fund for each of these awesome kids. A portion of each and every sale also goes toward a charitable cause our family chooses together each year. So from our family to yours, THANK YOU!
